Infinite Forgiveness & Divine Grace

We finish our teaching of Matthew 18 and frame the message of Jesus to the Church within the context of the entire chapter. We desperately need a revelation of our debt, forgiven through the work of the Cross, and our heart condition in direct response to overwhelming grace, love, and forgiveness.

The Divine Tension of Love and Discipline

We continue our teaching in Matthew 18 regarding the parable of the Lost Sheep and addressing sin within the church. We once again discover the divine tensions that exist in the scriptures; in this case the tension between forgiveness and removing a person from the church. We must learn to embrace Christ and his teachings as they are presented within this divine tension; he is as much a lion as he is a lamb.

Going Through

No matter what trial or difficulty you may be facing, God’s word to you is that he will see you “through.” Though you may be “walking through the valley of the shadow of death,” the operative word in Psalm 23 is “through.” Rest in the knowledge that the reality of His presence is in your present reality. Let Him reveal Himself to you today.

Faith for a New Season

God is declaring a new season and a new day for the Church. It is imperative that we understand the season we are in and the place God is bring us to; and beyond.

Jesus at the Gates of Hell

Jesus journeys with His disciples to Caesarea Philippi to reveal the mission of His church (ecclesia) and its purpose to come against the very gates of Hell. The Church is meant to function as a great light in utter darkness and depravity. We have authority to conquer the kingdom of darkness with the light of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ!
