We need to tear down our vain imaginations of him and receive the King of Glory for who he is, not for what we have imagined him to be. It’s time to humble ourselves to engage his fullness, and be authentically changed into his likeness.

Jesus Rejects the Hypocrisy of the Religious Leaders

As we continue our study in the Gospel of Matthew, we read of Jesus’ instructions to his disciples to listen to the teachings of the Pharisees and Scribes but not follow their actions. Again, this teaching reminds us that its not only about what we believe, but also about how we respond within that belief.
